#1 Oliver Burke – £15.0m

Regarded as a hot prospect after being signed by RB Leipzig from Nottingham Forest in 2016, the Baggies splashed the cash the following season to bring the Scotsman to the Hawthorns.
But he ultimately failed to make any real impact in the first team, providing just two assists in 15 appearances in his first season. He would do no better in the Championship, featuring in just three games before he was shipped out on loan to Celtic, and then Deportivo Alaves the season after.
He is to return from Alaves this summer but is highly unlikely to make the first team, so is probably on his way out at long last.
