After last season’s article on Albion player wages did so well, we decided to get the latest salaries and provide you with a list of West Brom’s top 20 highest earners, according to Spotrac.

Wages will differ from last season’s list due to promotion bonuses and the natural increase to meet Premier League standards.

Certain players like Matheus Pereira, Karlan Grant and Callum Robinson have been excluded as exact details on their wages could not be verified – either due to having signed a new deal or being a recent signing — but all the names included in this list have their numbers double-checked with information and data from across the web to ensure they are all as accurate as possible.

#20 Cedric Kipre – £9,615 p/w (£500,000 per year)

In at number 20 on this list is new arrival Cedric Kipre, who was signed from Wigan Athletic this summer. The 24-year-old was out of favour under Slaven Bilic so has had minimal game time as of writing. Allardyce might be tempted to give him a start to see what he’s capable of soon, but the Parisian defender is more likely to head out on loan next month instead.

#19 Conor Gallagher – £9,615 p/w (£500,000 per year)

It’s likely that Chelsea are paying a fair chunk of Gallagher’s wages as part of the agreed season-long loan deal with Albion. The promising youngster has been a standout performer for the Baggies so far this season and the salary he’s on right now will look a paltry sum compared to what he might earn at Stamford Bridge in the coming seasons.

#18 Rekeem Harper – £10,000 p/w (£520,000 per year)

Product of Albion’s academy, Rekeem Harper is on a considerable amount given how little he actually plays. He’s often with the reserves or occasionally making the bench, having only made a single appearance in the Premier League so far this season. He, like Kipre, is set to be loaned out in January.

#17 Conor Townsend – £11,500 p/w (£598,000 per year)

The first player on this list who often features in Albion’s first team, Conor Townsend has done a great job stepping into Kieran Gibbs’ place at left-back and won the favour of Slaven Bilic for his consistency. But whether or not he’ll keep that role under Allardyce remains to be seen.
