West Bromwich Albion are looking to plot a move for Hull City midfielder Leonardo da Silva Lopes, according to Football Insider.
The site claims that a source at The Hawthorns has informed them that Bilic wants to offer the 21-year-old Premier League football next season.
This, alone, should be enough to persuade the up-and-coming prospect to depart the sinking ship that is Hull City and join the newly-promoted Baggies this summer.
Hull City finished rock-bottom of the Championship this season, so will play in League One when football restarts.
Naturally, morale is very low at the club and other teams are willing to exploit this by poaching the best players on the Tigers’ roster, like Albion did with Kamil Grosicki in January.
Leonardo da Silva Lopes also featured for Portugal’s Under-20 squad in the past, but that single appearance back in March 2018 is the only experience he has of international football so far.
Da Silva Lopes has played 44 matches across all competitions for the Tigers this season, scoring two goals and providing four assists.
Despite only joining Hull last summer, a move elsewhere looks more than likely as the 21-year-old has been a diamond in the rough at the KCOM Stadium and is clearly being held back by the rest of the squad.
