The 24 year-old striker is on a lot of clubs radar after scoring an impressive 26 goals in just 39 appearances for League One Peterborough this season.
Albion had registered interest in January, but are now joined by a whole host of clubs in England, as well as Rangers and Celtic – who today have emerged as favourites to land Toney’s signature.
Peterborough’s Director of Football, Barry Fry has slapped a £10m price tag on the striker, but with the current financial state of play in the EFL may have to accept offers south of that.

Albion were linked with the 33 year-old on a free transfer after the player left Turkish side Trabzonspor by mutual consent in March.
#3 Joe Hart – Free TransferEmbed from Getty Images
Bilic is a huge admirer of Hart having worked together at West Ham. Hart would demand big wages but backs his ability to still produce at the top level. Celtic have also registered their interest in the 33 year-old.

Another free agent West Brom are keen on signing is ex-Sheffield Wednesday left-back Morgan Fox. The Baggies were closely linked with the 26-year-old last summer but no bid materialised. Fox is a strong tackling, no nonsense style defender. It is reported Nottingham Forest are also interested.
