#3 Jake Livermore vs Hull City

One of Albion’s standout players and a role model captain for the team throughout the season has been Jake Livermore. His work rate and gritty tackling has set the tone for many games this season. With only three goals to his name this campaign, his winner against Hull proved to be a crucial one.

A short corner to Pereira saw him fizz the ball into the feet of Livermore, who took a perfect first touch and blasted the ball home from 25 yards.

There was a muted celebration from the skipper against his former club, but what a goal to seal a vital three points.

Final score: Hull City 0-1 West Brom.

#2 Charlie Austin vs Birmingham

As Albion headed into the busy festive period, they found themselves 2-1 down at the Blues.

Cue Charlie Austin.

With almost his first touch since being subbed on, he teed up a ball (inadvertently or not, who cares?) and, on the swivel, volleyed the ball into the top left corner from the edge of the area.

We all know what he went on to do after that goal which is what makes it all the more sweeter. A personal favourite of many.

Final score: Birmingham 2-3 West Brom.
