The pressure is now on for the Baggies, as they know that two wins from these last two games will be enough to secure promotion back to the Premier League.

Albion visit Huddersfield at The John Smith’s Stadium on Friday hoping for all three points to create some breathing space between them and Brentford, who are looking threatening in third place.

Huddersfield are currently sat 20th in the league with 48 points, just three away from the relegation zone, so they also have a great deal to fight for in this game.

The Terriers have only won a single match since the restart and should, on paper, be an easy win for the Baggies.

But now is not the time for complacency, and West Brom will know to throw everything they’ve got at the opposition on Friday evening if they plan to get anything out of it.

Here is how Slaven Bilic might set the side up.

As usual, Sam Johnstone starts between the sticks with a familiar-looking backline ahead of him: Conor Townsend out on the left; Semi Ajayi and Ahmed Hegazi in the centre; and Dara O’Shea at right-back.

In midfield will likely be Romaine Sawyers and Jake Livermore. No sign of Rekeem Harper this time, as he’s under-performed when given chances as of late.

Three attacking midfielders in Kamil Grosicki, Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira — all of whom the Baggies rely on to score goals now that the strikers are apparently out of form.

Replacing Charlie Austin this week could be Hal Robson-Kanu. He’s only been given chances off the bench lately but with Austin failing to score in three matches, now is the time for the Welshman to prove his worth.

Score Prediction: Huddersfield 0-2 West Brom

The Terriers have been struggling all season and are nowhere near the standard of the Albion team, so this should be a comfortable victory. Pereira and Diangana to score.
